Chiari Warrior

Updated: Apr 23, 2018

WOW, right? I have a pretty cool looking scar. It's not just any scar tho, it's my testimony (the one that God promised I would have).

If you've read some of my previous post, you know I struggled with anxiety and doubt.

I was drowning in negativity and let fear get the best of me.

I had a smile on my face, but I was constantly fighting with God -- I even questioned His love and His purpose for my life.

I didn't foresee any of this coming.

In fact, it was quite an unexpected turn. Life was going well for the most part.

I just started a new job, was beginning to make new friends and was preparing for an awesome year of travel.

I still have a long road of recovery ahead of me, but through this process, I have learned and grown spiritually, mentally and physically.

Here are eight things my new scar will remind me of:

(1) Do not worry. Cast your cares on the Lord.

(2) You're in good hands. God loves and wants the best for you.

(3) You may make plans, but your steps are ordered.

(4) Don't lose hope. Mustard seed faith goes a long way.

(5) God is with you always, so be courageous.

(6) God always provides. Don't doubt and stay out of the way.

(7) With God ALL things are possible.

(8) He moves mountains...so brain surgery ain't no thang, but a chicken wang.

I'm officially a Chiari warrior-- I'm a fighter and I am strong!

All the glory belongs to God.
